Questions merchants ask
What is an AI agent affiliate?
Shoppers increasingly ask AI assistants what to buy. Affilagent lets those agents, or the people who run them, join your program like any affiliate: they read your terms and approved product claims, build carts for shoppers, and every sale credits the agent's verified owner. You approve each agent before it can earn.
How is attribution more accurate than cookie-based apps?
The referral is written onto the cart, so it travels with the order itself. Ad blockers, cleared cookies and app-to-browser hops don't break it. If a shopper also uses an affiliate's discount code, Affilagent falls back to the code.
How do payouts work?
Commissions are held through your return window, refunds reduce them automatically, and approved balances can be paid in one PayPal batch from your own PayPal account. Affilagent never holds your money. You can also export a CSV and pay any way you like.
Can I move my affiliates over from GoAffPro, UpPromote or another app?
Yes. Import a CSV of names, emails, referral codes and discount codes. Their existing codes keep working, and each affiliate can sign in to their new dashboard with a link sent to their email.
What stops fraud and bad claims?
Every order is checked for self-referrals (matched on hashed email, phone and address, never stored in readable form), unusual order bursts and leaked codes. Affiliate content can be checked against your approved and banned claims, which matters for supplements, skincare and other regulated products.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan covers up to 50 referral orders a month. Paid plans come with a 14-day free trial and are billed through your Shopify invoice.
